Panache Brings Additional Scale to Its Operations with Executive Vice President Cheryl Kellond

Former Vice President of Product Strategy at Yahoo! Brings Over a Decade of Industry Experience to Panache

LOS ANGELES (March 9, 2008) - Panache, the advertising platform for digital video, today announced that Cheryl Kellond has joined the company as a member of its executive leadership to expand strategic operations due to the fast-growing online video advertising market.

According to a recent Forrester report1, with users consuming more online video than ever, marketers are set to spend more than $1 billion on online video advertising in 2010. And a joint Forrester and the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) survey2 found that forty-six percent of US advertisers plan to spend more in online video ads as an alternative to the 30-second TV spot; most plan to try new forms of online video ads.

“It makes sense that, with major media and entertainment companies now accelerating digital video as an important part of their business, so many are choosing Panache as their ad technology platform,” said Kellond. “I've been following Panache's business and innovations since licensing their technology as part of our video ad platform at Yahoo! and have been impressed with Panache's ability to execute Yahoo!'s complex technical projects, often when other partners fell short. Panache's platform and team have been solid from the beginning,” she added.

Panache's technology is embedded in the digital video ecosystem with clients including all MTV Networks properties, PBS, Fox as well as a breadth of partners such as Adobe, Microsoft, thePlatform, Brightcove, Akamai, PointRoll, Unicast, Eyeblaster, and many others. Panache plans to announce major projects and clients in the coming months.

“The premium digital video market is accelerating with major brands investing in advertising,” said Steve Robinson, Panache president. “There's significant need for publisher ad platforms that make it easy for both publishers and brands to make premium video a business success. Since inception, Panache has focused on helping major publishers make money with premium video, and is now at the forefront with a comprehensive ad platform that includes industry-unique solutions such as Panache Ad Flow™. Cheryl joins us as an industry veteran with client-side perspective and will give Panache expanded capabilities with customers and partners as well as internal operations.”

Kellond brings fifteen years of experience developing innovative products and launching new businesses to Panache's management team. She was previously Vice President of Advertiser Product Marketing at Yahoo! where she led product strategy for display and video advertising. While at Yahoo!, Cheryl helped develop new IAB video ad formats and drove the acquisition of Maven Networks.
